The Frankfurt train station is pretty large - In fact, it's one of the largest and busiest in Europe. Because of it's location in the center of Western Europe, chances are you'll find yourself at the Frankfurt am Main Hauptbahnhof.
You can find trains here heading in every direction, and it's a good jumping off point for long train journeys to cities in the east like Prague and western cities like Paris. You'll also find frequent departures to just about every city in Germany.
Frankfurt also has a very organized train station. It's very easy to see the main departures and arrivals board, the ticket hall area is easy to find and the staff all speak English and German. If you need to buy a point-to-point ticket, and have a credit card you can use the automatic ticket machines to buy your ticket quickly.
You can also hop on the U-Bahn (subway) and explore the rest of Frankfurt. The train station is only a couple stops away from the main downtown area where you can do some shopping and site seeing as well.
